I was provided with a complimentary Disney Side @Home Celebration kit to plan my party and spread some pixie dust! The thoughts, ideas, and opinions in this post are 100% mine. You can read my full disclosure policy here.
“Be our guest, be our guest.” We’re having a party! A Disney party, not less so you know it’s going to be FUN! My family was invited to host a #DisneySide @Home Celebration and we’ve really been having fun planning our party. To get us ready for the shindig, we were sent an ah-mazing celebration kit. I wanted to share with all of you what’s inside, so we made a video. Come see what in the box! Disclaimer: The dog climbing all over the goodies is mine and did not come in the package. 🙂
Watch us open our #DisneySide @Home Celebration Kit!
Pretty fantastic, right? I absolutely love the American Tourister suitcase. It’s actually carry on size despite how roomy it is and weighs only 8lbs. And purple!!! LOVE.
I think we have just about everything we need to plan the perfect party. There are goodies for 10 guests though we couldn’t limit our list to that many so I’m going to hit up the Dollar Store and see what other fun treats I can find for prizes. Because there will definitely be games and lots of winners!
I love the Disney cookie cutters. Help me out with some ideas. I’m thinking of cutting up cookies or brownies, maybe cheese slices and some fruit. Any other creative ideas? The middle picture is of the free Disney Parks Vacation Planning DVD. You guys. My kids are OBSESSED! We’ve seriously had this on 3 times in the past 2 days. They love it. (Pssst. I’ll let you in on a secret. We’re planning our first trip this year and they have NO IDEA! Can you imagine how fun it is for me to watch them watch this video?!) Finally the pic on the right are more favors for our guests. These HP Photo Card Packs are awesome for printing cards at home. I am so last-minute, the ability to do this is a lifesaver for me.
So what’s our party theme?
Our #DisneySide is definitely Disney movies and music. We have so many of the Disney movies DVDs and it’s very common to hear someone break out in Disney song around here. The FROZEN soundtrack has pretty much taken over our sound system for the past 2 months. And I’m not complaining! So it was pretty easy to land on a Disney movies theme for our party!
The kids are helping me come up with lots of fun ideas for games and crafts and I’ll be scouring Pinterest for party food ideas. If you have some suggestions for me, bring ’em on! I’m all ears! For starters each guest will get one of these 2014 Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Line-Up bookmarks. I know I can’t invite all of you to the party, so these are for you, too! Click here or on the image below and print them on 8.5″x11″ cardstock. And if you want to learn more about these films I’ve got all the goods here.
We’re working on a trivia game too that even the littlest Disney fans will be able to play and win. My daughter and I came up with these questions so far:
-
What are the names of Ursula’s two eels?
-
Who is Lightning McQueen’s best friend?
-
Elsa is the Queen of what kingdom?
So far so good, right? We still have a few weeks to party plan and of course I’ll keep you posted and share some pics after the bit event. In the meantime…
Leave a comment with more trivia questions or any other party suggestions that you have.
I’d love to include your DisneySide in our celebration!
